Acting on Instinct
Instinctively, Sally carried Tom downstairs to the kitchen, seeking solace in the familiar. Turning on the light, she saw Tom’s usual smile but sensed something was off. Her confusion deepened as she struggled to connect his odd behavior with the normal baby in her arms. Answers seemed elusive.
Desperate Measures
Determined to find a solution, Sally decided to bathe Tom in the sink again. She carefully supported his head and ensured his safety in the warm water. Pacing the kitchen, her mind raced with worries and doubts. Sally prayed that this desperate act might somehow help her son.
